注意要重复客人的姓名。
检查客房状况可以避免客人对客房内部设施、非一次性用品造成的损坏不知情，保障饭店的利益不受损害。楼层服务员在接到通知后应立即前往该房间查看，并及时通知收银处查房结果。
同时前台服务员还会检查客人房卡(roomcard)、钥匙上的房号与登记表、账单上的房号是否一致，避免因错对账单而结错账。
