A letter of insurance is structured in 3main parts as follows：
1.The first part is to express thanks for the previous letter of insuring the goods and make confirmation of the goods insured.
2.The second part consists of more than one paragraphs if needed， and states the details of insurance concisely but completely.
3.At last， the letter finishes with a hope for a timely reply.

With reference to your letter of 20 September inquiring about the insurance on our CIF offer for air conditioners， We d like to provide the following information for your reference.
In general， we effect insurance with the People s Insurance Company of China against all risks.Should you require the insurance to be covered as per Insti tute Cargo Clauses， we would be glad to do accordingly.But if the premium of the latter is higher， you will have to bear the extra premium， for which we will draw on you a clean draft.Also， you can ask for additional risks such as TPND to be included， but the additional premium will be charged to your account.
This insurance amount is usually 110% of the total invoice value.However， if you want a higher percentage， we can comply but the extra premium is for your account as well.
