Making a Traveling Plan

Julia: Yes. My visa has come through.

Tom: When will you leave

Julia: Next Wednesday. And that’s just what I wanted to talk to you about. What should I take with me

Tom: How long are you going for

Julia: Two weeks.

Tom: You needn’t take too many clothes with you. You can buy them quite cheaply in USA.

Julia: I see. What about gifts What kind of things do American people like I am completely in the dark.

Tom: Anything that is recognizably Chinese. But since your luggage allowance is only 20 kilos, it’s best to buy things that don’t weigh too much.

Julia: This has really been very useful. It has helped me a great deal. Thanks a lot.

Tom: It’s been a pleasure. All the very best to you.
