In some Western countries like Canada,Australia and America, there is a strong work ethic. This has developed through history and religion and is deeply rooted in society. The belief is that by hard work, success can be achieved. This ethic is a very strong motivator for many people, since work itself is seen as something “good”,having value for both the society and the individual. These days it is difficult to say exactly what drives many people to work as hard as they do.Part of the reason may be the work ethic.
