Enthusiasm Outweighs Experience

Guidance for Reciting

“The worst bankrupt is the person who lost his enthusiasm”,which can be used as the most suitable footnote of this passage. Man can succeed at almost anything for which he has unlimited enthusiasm.

Enthusiasm will take you further than any amount of experience. Enthusiastic people can turn a boring drive into an adventure, extra work into opportunity and strangers into friends.

Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm. It is the paste that helps you hang in there when the going gets tough. It is the inner voice that whispers,“I can do it!”when others shout,“No,you can't.”

“Enthusiasm”comes from the Greek and means“God within.”And what is God within is but an abiding sense of love―proper love of self (self-acceptance)and,from that, love of others.

片语“go the extra mile”源出《圣经?马太福音》第五章“山顶布道”,耶稣劝告门徒:“Whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile,go with him twain.”(有人强逼你走一里路,你就同他走二里。)
